MANSFIELD PAINTBALL REVIEW
SAFETY
Safety at any professional paintball field is always number one, and so it is at
Mansfield Paintball.  After any new player checks in and before they leave the check-
in area, they are required to watch a brief “Safety Video” shot onsite and with the
referees of the field.  This insures that everyone receives the same information, every
time. Nothing is overlooked or forgotten because, thanks to the video, it is the same
every time.  All fields, with the exception of the Deep Woods field for obvious reasons,
are fully netted and spectators are encouraged to come watch the game as long as
they stay behind the safety rope.  The referees are well trained and are quick to
respond to a player’s request for a paintcheck on themselves or an opponent.
Generally, Mansfield Paintball has a minimum of one referee for every 15 players.
Random chrono checks are also conducted prior to and after games.

OTHER
Mansfield Paintball is a growing commercial business.  Starting off with paintball they
have already branched out and have a mechanical bull for people to enjoy with a lot
more to come!  They also run Specials each month (come on out, call them or check
their website for details). Mansfield Paintball also offers a special Splatmaster Zone
to introduce younger children to the fun and excitement of the sport.

THE FUTURE
Future plans for Mansfield Paintball include Go carts, zip lines, camping cabins,
Summer Christian camp, paddle boats, swimming, sand volleyball, fishing and more.

SUMMARY
Mansfield Paintball is a clean, modern and family oriented paintball field.  It is well run
and the staff is very courteous and well trained.  The party room and air conditioned
restrooms are a nice touch as well.  With all the fields (except for the Deep Woods
fields) netted, spectators are able to enjoy watching their friends and relatives play
the game.  Mansfield Paintball keeps their prices low and the fun high!

5 = Excellent  4 = Better than Average  3 = Average  2 = Below Average  1 = Poor

Criteria:
Safety
– Based on how well the wearing of facemasks is enforced; the overall safety
of each field; the chrono limit; quality of safety briefings; rule enforcement.
Friendliness of Staff – Based on how the staff interacts with the players; amount of
time spent between games; helpfulness of the staff.
Variety of Fields – Based on the overall number of fields, taking into consideration
the number of speedball, wooded and combination fields and size of each field.
Pricing (Air, Play, Paint) – Lower price is better (taking into consideration the quality
of the paint).
Restrooms – Port-a-Potties are okay, but solid, well built, restrooms with running
water and air conditioning is better.
Spectator Friendly – Based on the overall number of fields compared to those that
are able to be safely viewed by non-facemask-wearing spectators.
Child Friendly – Based on the number and quality of available opportunities for
children to play safely. Includes items such as playgrounds, sandboxes, etc. as well
as the opportunities for children to play paintball, airsoft, etc.
Gun Quantity and Quality – Based on the number of paintball guns and the
brand/model of those guns, in relation to the number of fields and maximum number
of players at one time.
Referees – Based on the fairness and overall professionalism of the referees. No
favoritism shown to new players or long-time players. Willingness to get into the
middle of a firefight to determine if someone is “hit.” Determination to enforce the
rules of the game, with special emphasis on safety.
